Returns & Exchanges

Return / Exchange Policy

We want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase. For returns, we issue refunds for up to six months after original purchase date and issue a Poncho E-gift card for a return processed after 6 months. For exchanges, there is no time limit.

If you wish to return OR exchange your item, you can do so HERE (hold down / right click).

How do I return/exchange my gear?

Visit our portal HERE (hold down / right click) to get a return or exchange started and to print out a free return shipping label or receive a QR code.


What you'll need: order number and shipping zip code.

I received a Poncho shirt as a gift, can I still exchange it?

No problem! You are welcome to exchange your shirt or return it for store credit. You can process a gift exchange without the gift giver knowing!


For a Gift exchange, please visit this link HERE(hold down / right click). You will need the original order number and shipping zip code.


If you need help locating that information, please email us at help@ponchooutdoors.com with the purchaser’s name and the shirt you would like to return.

I requested a return for a refund through the website...now what?

Once you process your return or exchange, you will be prompted to print a return shipping label or offered a QR code for USPS.

Refunds will be process when the order is received by our Returns Team. Please allow up to 14 days for the Returns team to process your refund.

I requested an exchange through the website...now what?

Exchange orders are released when USPS scans in the return label for the shirt you are sending back.

If you have placed an additional order with your exchange, that will also ship when your return is shipped back to us.

I have returns/exchanges from multiple orders.. can I ship them back in the same box?

It is important that returns requested through our website are shipped back with the corresponding return label for that order.

Combining returns from multiple orders into one package will result in delays in your exchanges or refund and could be returned to you by USPS for postage due.

Lifetime Guarantee Policy

You heard it right - we guarantee our shirts for life! Just send in your current shirt and we'll send you a brand new one!

I need to return or exchange a shirt purchased at one of Poncho's retail partners...how do I proceed?

We only accept returns/exchanges from online purchases through the Poncho website.

If you purchased from a retailer that carries Poncho and your shirt has an issue or you would like to exchange it for a new size, you need to return it to the original point of purchase and abide by the shop's individual return/exchange policy.

Orders & Shipping

Can I change my order?

Shoot us an email at help@ponchooutdoors.com as soon as possible, and we will do our best to accommodate any changes.


Once you receive an email with your tracking information, it is generally too late to change the order.


If we are not able to make the change in time, you can visit our returns/exchange portal HERE (hold down / right click) to print a free return shipping label.

What is the status of my order?

You will receive an email with your tracking information once your order is on the way to you. If you have any questions or issue in receiving your order, feel free to email us at help@ponchooutdoors.com

If the shirt you ordered is a "pre-order" then it will ship to you by the date noted on the website and your order confirmation email.

Shipping times for Expedited FedEx

FedEx Expedited 2 Day and Overnight options only travel on business days. There are no weekend delivery options for FedEx Expedited.


For example: If your order is placed on Friday by 2pm CT with Overnight shipping, it will be delivered Monday. If it placed on Friday by 2pm CT with 2 Day shipping, it will be delivered Tuesday. Any orders placed after 2pm CT will ship the next business day.

What are the shipping costs?

We offer free standard shipping (4-8 Business Days) on all orders. USPS 1-4 Day Priority and Express shipping via FedEx are available for an additional charge.


FedEx can only deliver to a physical address, please do not request expedited shipping for addresses with a PO Box. This will result in a delay or returned shipment.


We currently only ship to Canada for a shipping fee of $25 US dollars & local GST may apply.

If I order a Pre-sale Item with a non-presale item, will I have to wait to get both?
No, you won't have to wait. Non-presale items will ship right away. Pre-sale items will ship on the date noted.
Do you ship Internationally?
We currently only ship to Canada and the US.
Military & First Responder Discount

We now offer a Military and First Responder discounts through GOV X. You will need to log into Gov X HERE (hold down / right click) or at checkout.

Once you receive the discount code, apply it to your order at checkout. Please confirm the discount is applied, we are not able to add it later or refund you once it is processed.

Products & Fit

Should I choose regular or slim fit?

Our shirts fit true to size and are not baggy (like your old fishing shirts!)


Regular Fit: Cut in a relaxed fit with more room through the body of the shirt.

Works best for guys with a larger chest and/or mid-section.


Slim Fit: Works best for leaner builds.

Trimmer around the chest, waist and arms.


Shirt stretch still allows for full range of motion. There is a size/fit guide located on each shirt's page to assist you.

What if I'm tall?
While we don't currently make tall sizes (but hey, one day we might), we have found that sizing up and going with a slim over a regular does the trick!
How do I launder my Poncho shirts?

Best practice is to wash in cold water and either hang to dry or tumble dry on low heat. The shirt is extremely fast drying and will dry on its own.

No ironing needed - any wrinkles will fall out within minutes of wear. We do not recommend dry cleaning as it can cause damage to your shirt.

Should I iron or dry clean my Poncho shirt?

Ironing is not necessary. Best practice is to wash on gentle in cold water and hang to dry or tumble dry on low. Any wrinkles from the washer will fall out within a few minutes of wear.

You may iron the shirt if you choose, but only on low heat! We do no recommend Dry Cleaning! It will melt the collar snaps and can cause the magnets to become ineffective.

Custom Logo & Embroidery
Poncho does not offer any kind of embroidery or customization service at this time. We are happy to ship to the embroiderer of your choice!

Gift Cards

Poncho E-Gift Card

Poncho E-Gift Cards are available in denominations of $50, $75, $100, $150, $200 and $500 -they never expire!


Simply purchase the amount you would like and the gift card will be emailed to you. You can then print it out or forward the email on to the recipient.


So easy, and you win the “Best Gift Giver” Award!

Can I return a gift card?

Our gift cards are non-refundable, but they are transferable.

Simply forward on to another recipient.
